Es significativo cómo los dogmas ideológicos que luego pasan por «sentido común», «pragmatismo» y otras decoraciones ficticias, se pierden siempre el marco general de la historia y se limitan a una pieza del rompecabezas.

En el video que incluyo aquí, Margaret Thatcher pone ejemplos como Rusia y el Congo, subdesarrollados a pesar de su riqueza en recursos naturales, «porque no han tenido una economía de empresarios». Por supuesto que la han tenido, y en África, América latina y otras regiones del Sur global la libertad empresarial (me refiero al verdadero empresario capitalista, no al pequeño empresario que vive de su trabajo) y la libertad de los capitales ni siquiera tenían los límites de los gobiernos que tenían en Europa y Estados Unidos. Eran economías capitalistas y empresariales al servicio directo del desarrollo de brutales y sangrientos imperios extractivos como el suyo, Gran Bretaña (razón por la cual hoy están en decadencia y culpan de ello a los inmigrantes; ciegamente, como en este caso de ciego orgullo por el desarrollo y la prosperidad propia).

Como es propio de la secta neoliberal, tanto del amo como del cipayo, la señora Thatcher omite lo más importante: gran parte del Sur Global era más rico y más desarrollado que Gran Bretaña, Francia o los Países Bajos y, en muchos casos, hasta siglos después. Todos los países ricos y desarrollados de entonces fueron destruidos por los cañones, las drogas, el fanatimso y las ideologías europeas (como la del «libre mercado» luego de que se destruyera el libre mercado), sobre todo por los británicos y sus empresas piratas (privatizers) como la East India Co. Decenas de trillones de dólares fueron transferidos de India a Inglaterra solo en un par de siglos al tiempo que cientos de millones eran masacrados o hambreados hasta morir de forma deliberada. Rusia tuvo un gran desarrollo económico y social hasta la barbarie nazi (apoyada por los grandes y exitosos empresarios de Gran Bretaña y de Estados Unidos) y luego fue acosada y bloqueada durante la guerra fría por los mismos imperios racistas como el suyo.

El Congo, que menciona Thatcher, fue destruido y desangrado varias veces por y para los europeos hasta ayer–con la colaboración natural de los cipayos de turno. No solo le robaron trillones de dólares para el desarrollo de las «naciones libres, inteligentes y empresariales» sino que en pocas décadas le exterminaron diez millones de personas y dejaron sin manos a miles, sino millones de otras víctimas que no trabajaban lo suficientemente rápido para el éxito empresarial de los blancos.

De su indignación por la contaminación ambiental de los países subdesarrollado ni es necesario comentar. Un niño de escuela lo sabe.

Si en algo Noroccidente superó a todas las demás culturas, desde el continente de las naciones originarias en América hasta las milenarias y altamente productivas sociedades asiáticas, fue por su fanatismo materialista y por el desarrollo sin competencia de sus instrumentos de guerra y destrucción. Porque su prosperidad, como se la continúa entendiendo hoy, no es posible sin la «destrucción de la competencia». El otro que no obedece, el otro que no es esclavo, colonizado o adulón, es siempre (siempre) un peligroso enemigo.

No por casualidad cuando hablamos de imperialismo se nos acusa de “sesentistas” o algo por el estilo, para silenciar la raíz del problema que, como raíz, continúa estratégicamente enterrada.

The most perverse dogma in modern history

It is significant how ideological dogmas, which later pass for “common sense,” “pragmatism,” and other fictitious labels, always lose sight of the broader historical context and limit themselves to one piece of the puzzle.

In the video I include here, Margaret Thatcher gives examples such as Russia and the Congo, which are underdeveloped despite their wealth of natural resources, “because they have not had an entrepreneurial economy.” Of course they have, and in Africa, Latin America, and other regions of the global South, entrepreneurial freedom (I am referring to the true capitalist entrepreneur, not the small business owner who lives off his work) and capital freedom did not even have the limits that governments in Europe and the United States had. They were capitalist and entrepreneurial economies directly serving the development of brutal and bloody extractive empires like hers, Great Britain (which is why they are now in decline and blame immigrants for it; blindly, as in this case of blind pride in their own development and prosperity).

As is typical of the neoliberal sect, both the master and the sepoy, Mrs. Thatcher omits the most important thing: much of the Global South was richer and more developed than Great Britain, France, or the Netherlands, and in many cases, even centuries later. All the rich and developed countries of that time were destroyed by cannons, drugs, fanaticism, and European ideologies (such as the “free market” after the free market was destroyed), especially by the British and their pirate companies (privatizers) such as the East India Co. Tens of trillions of dollars were transferred from India to England in just a couple of centuries, while hundreds of millions were deliberately massacred or starved to death. Russia experienced great economic and social development until the Nazi barbarism (supported by the big and successful businessmen of Great Britain and the United States) and was then harassed and blocked during the Cold War by the same racist empires as yours.

The Congo, which Thatcher mentions, was destroyed and bled dry several times by and for Europeans until yesterday—with the natural collaboration of the sepoy on duty. Not only did they steal trillions of dollars for the development of “free, intelligent, and entrepreneurial nations,” but in a few decades they exterminated ten million people and left thousands, if not millions, of other victims who did not work fast enough for the business success of white people.

There is no need to comment on their indignation at the environmental pollution of underdeveloped countries. A schoolchild knows this.

If the Northwest surpassed all other cultures, from the continent of the original nations in America to the ancient and highly productive societies of Asia, it was because of its materialistic fanaticism and the unrivaled development of its instruments of war and destruction. Because its prosperity, as it continues to be understood today, is not possible without the “destruction of competition.” The other who does not obey, the other who is not a slave, colonized, or sycophantic, is always (always) a dangerous enemy.

It is no coincidence that when we talk about imperialism, we are accused of being “sixties activists” or something similar, in order to silence the root of the problem, which, as a root, remains strategically buried.
